PEFC is the largest forest certification system in the world. Its credible standards, seek to transform the way forest management is done globally – and locally – to ensure that we can all enjoy the environmental, social and economic benefits of forests.

Additionally, the Forest Management Board (FSC) is an international, non-profit organization founded in 1993 with the aim of responsible forest management. FSC does so by setting standards for forest products along with their certification and labeling as environmentally friendly.
